International Symposium NMP 2024 to Explore Urban Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality, Proceeding

Prof. Thomas Spiegelhalter will be presenting at the Networks, Markets & People (NMP 2024) International Symposium. His lecture, titled "From Blueprint to Reality: A Design-Built Analysis of Urban Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality," has been accepted as part of the Symposium Proceedings and will be published in a SPRINGER book. The Symposium, organized by the UNESCO MED LAB – Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria (Italy), in collaboration with ASTRI Scientific Association and the National Italian Committee of ICOMOS, is supported by various international academic institutions and scientific societies. Key supporters include CETRAD – Centre for Transdisciplinary Development Studies, University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Vila Real (Portugal), NEUROLAB – DICEAM Department, Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria (Italy), GRUPO ANTE – University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), and LABOREM – Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria (Italy). Fifteenth International Conference on The Constructed Environment to Explore Sustainable Urban Fabrics in Berlin

Prof. Thomas Spiegelhalter will be presenting at the Fifteenth International Conference on The Constructed Environment, themed "Sharing Practices and Sustainable Urban Fabrics," taking place on April 10-11, 2025, in Berlin, Germany, hosted by HTW Berlin - Campus Wilhelminenhof.  The presentation of his FIU research project, "From Blueprint to Footprint: Envisioning Carbon-Positive, Resilient Coastal Urban Environments through Collaborative Design Practices," represents a significant milestone. This meticulously curated 3-stage peer-reviewed project is well-aligned with the conference's focus on "Sharing Practices and Sustainable Urban Fabrics" in 2025, as well as its broader themes related to spatial design, environmental impacts, and social ramifications.
